About CarShield AAA

CarShield AAA Hockey is a premier youth hockey organization based in the counties of

St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri. The program provides high-performance training

and elite-level competitions for athletes from across the region, with a heavy emphasis

on advancement and long-term player success. CarShield AAA have the best coaches

in the region that have coaching and playing experience at every level.

CarShield AAA Since 2015: Player Development, Advancement, and a Focus

Introduction — Since the 2017-18 season, CarShield AAA Hockey has established

itself as a true leader in youth player development—not just in Missouri, but on a

national scale. With a focus that extends far beyond the scoreboard, the program has

consistently emphasized long-term athlete development, education, and advancement

over wins and losses. The Program started as a Tier 2 program as the St. Louis Selects.

The program transitioned into a Tier 1 AAA program in the 15-16 season with only two

teams at the 16u and 18u age levels. The St. Louis Selects teamed up with a local

company that provided great support to our athletes and became CarShield AAA. In a

short period of time we have added seven more youth teams and an on-site athletic and

academic academy which helps players at every age and level.

Winning is not the end game. For CarShield AAA, success is measured by

opportunity, growth, and the path each athlete follows after leaving the program. Over

the past decade, the numbers have told a powerful story of development and

achievement.

Player Advancement by the Numbers:

• 78 NAHL Tenders — A clear reflection of CarShield AAA’s reputation for

preparing players to compete at the next level. 43 of these tenders were local

players, showcasing the program’s commitment to developing homegrown

talent.

• 8 Players Turned Professional — With 7 of them being local, CarShield AAA

has proven its ability to elevate players to the sport’s highest levels, including

international and North American professional leagues.

• 12 NCAA Division I Commitments — Impressively, all 12 players were local

athletes, illustrating how the program nurtures talent within the community and

helps athletes reach elite collegiate hockey.

• 23 NCAA Division III Commitments — 13 of those are local, adding to the

robust collegiate track record.

• 28 ACHA Division I Players — Many athletes have also found competitive

college hockey homes through the ACHA, continuing their careers while earning

a quality education.

• 1 NHL Draft Pick – In our short history we are proud to say our first NHL draft

pick that developed within our club was chosen by our local St. Louis Blues
